This survey is part of the SMART-Plant project, which is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 690323. For further information please go to the website http://smart-plant.eu
SMART-Plant uses low carbon techniques to recover materials that are otherwise lost. The aim of SMART-Plant is to optimise wastewater treatment, resource recovery, energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse emissions. SMART-Plant aims to recover biopolymers, cellulose, fertilisers and intermediates. We are interested in finding out if these recovered cellulose products are viable options in the construction sector for insulation materials, and decking, for example. We wish to evaluate the attitudes of construction professionals to the products.
